Considering the current search functionality on Spotify/SoundCloud is quite limited and most people do not name their playlists to accurately reflect the type of music they contain, it would be amazing to have a search tool to look for playlists that contain selected tracks.
This search tool is free and simple. Just type your favorite music into the search box, and the tool will show you playlists that contain songs that match what you are looking for.
Search Spotify playlists by song or artist
Searching all Spotify playlists for playlists containing a song or artist isn’t an easy process. The idea was suggested to Spotify here, and many users voted it up (3573 at the time of writing this article). However, it is still not supported on Spotify.
Once you enter your keywords (artist or song name), Spotify will automatically generate results. Scroll down to the bottom of the search results, and you will find the “Playlists” section that includes playlists that just contain the search query in their name or description. They may or may not actually contain the song or artist within them. With this tool, there is a way to search for Spotify playlists by song or artist!
Find SoundCloud playlists with specific artists/songs
Is it possible to find what playlists contain a certain song on SoundCloud?
Yes, it is possible, as SoundCloud has a feature to find playlists including any track. It’s called “In playlists.” But what if you want to find playlists that contain more than one song? The Playlist Finder tool solves this problem and helps you find SoundCloud playlists that contain many songs or artists.
